Ready to Use Tandoor*

*READY TO USE – GOLDEN TANDOORS are half done i.e., fired to a set point in controlled heat before they are packed. This ensures that the tandoor clay pot is almost ready to use from the time you have it. No more waiting for days to cure the tandoor oven or use oil or spinach etc. for preparation. Though we cannot hold the chef’s that want to use oil etc. for pre-preparation of the tandoor as we believe they know best, but we only advise a few hours of slow heat to each tandoor before running the tandoor unit on full heat for cooking. Saline water treatment depending on your usage is all that is required on these heavy clay pots in use in full running conditions making breads all day long every day. Read first firing instructions in the user and safety manual supplied with each tandoor.

Ceramic Insulation and Double Body Double Insulated Tandoor

Retaining heat on the inside of the tandoor gives you better cooked food, fuel saving and a less heated kitchen. Instead of 1 we use a 2 chassis concept thus trapping heat inside a ceramic sandwich giving retained heat to the clay pot thus the chef can keep doing breads one after the other. Sweeter breads and quicker skewers is also a result of this heat in the pot as claimed by most user chefs. We do not use Glass Wool or Mud filling in the tandoor. Chefs feel the difference when using this tandoor.

Weather Cover Metal for Tandoors · All Metal Weather Cover · Protects the tandoor oven during Rain & Snow Its recommended to keep the tandoor oven under shade when not in use, even though the Metal Weather Cover is designed to protect it from Rain and Snow the over moisture during the time shall be soaked to the natural handmade clay pot. Follow first firing principle as in the instruction manual when the tandoor is not used for a long period or has been into rough and wet weather. Metal Weather Covers are model specific, and a smaller size would not fit a larger size tandoor but would work vice versa. Some weight kept on the metal cover would assist in it is not moved away from wind. Picture shown is for depiction and might be of a different tandoor model.
