Centuries old secret clay preparation and moulding techniques, passed down generations are used by families of artisans to make the clay pots with hands. These are scientifically insulated to ensure minimum heat loss and given highly finished steel bodies, made in a state of the art manufacturing facility with CNC machines, ensuring consistent high quality.

Made by unskilled labour in small fabrication units without modern equipment, resulting in a badly finished product that varies drastically from the specifications.

Unhygienic clay from questionable environments is used resulting in potential sanitation issues due to clay contaminants.

Very Thick Clay Pots ensure a longer life and even heat distribution. Our Clay tandoor ovens are the heaviest in the world.

Thinner fragile pots are used to cut production and transportation costs. They develop cracks during delivery or very early in usage. Also the thin walls do not retain and distribute the heat evenly thus consuming more gas / charcoal and cooking the food unevenly.

Our Tandoors are NSF/ANSI-4 Certified for SANITATION. You can be rest assured that food cooked in our tandoors would meet the test of any hygiene standard in the world. You get a cleaner kitchen and your customers are served safe food.

Most of the competition is not aware of the norms therefore follows no sanitation standards. By using products not designed for sanitation you are exposing your customers to food contamination and risking potential law suits.

Golden Tandoors are ETL | NSF | CSA | SASO | ANSI-4 | AGA | IAPMO | CE | UL | EAC Certified as per requirement of different country compliance. All our gas tandoors are with low pressure burners that not only save gas but also come with safety devices for a safer and cleaner kitchen environment.

The competition uses very high pressure burners which cannot run on the legally specified gas types and pressures. Loose hanging gas connections further cause danger to the working environment.

Each and every Golden Tandoor is tested and certified for the gas output desired by the customer by undergoing a certification process prescribed by law. Emission and Combustion levels too are checked before dispatch. Each unit is marked with a control number and a serial number. All this is done in a state of the art gas test lab duly accredited by competent authorities.

Since their products are not manufactured, tested or certified as per statutory norms, the chances of poisonous and potentially explosive unburned gases in the kitchen atmosphere increases drastically. Using Non Certified products phenomenally increases the risk of grievous accidents endangering life and property.

We use High BTU cast iron very heavy duty gas burners with ignition mechanism with safety device and an easy to clean panel. Flame Failure Safety Device ensures safety and single knob control with pilot provides Gas Saving with Gas Flame Control. These low pressure gas burners save fuel and are safer on kitchen carbon monoxide levels since each burner is tested after fitting

Ill designed burners that cannot be used with the specified gases are just put with loosely hanging pipes posing fatal risk. The heat output is so low that you would end up wasting precious time. Since no safety devices are put in the regulation of the flame is never precise and when accidently extinguished the gas will leak in the product posing a larger threat.

Locally made 202 grade hairline finish stainless steel or mild steel painted which poses a sanitation threat in the kitchen along with the life of the oven being reduced.

The product is packed in treated wood individually selected for destination country as per the local quarantine norms. Each wooden packing is designed to withstand the weight of the tandoor and also ensure that no moisture goes in the product. The packing design is water hose tested with a load capability of 3 high stacking. Each wooden box/crate is palletized to ensure easy handing and movement at the receiving end.

No clue on ISPM requirement of the said country and the norms, unaware on the type of wood required for each country. The trouble is thus borne by the buyer and not the seller.

Designing - dedicated team of engineers & interior designers & chefs of various cuisines to design the most suited product for a customer. State of the art design software's for CAD - 3D Rendering & heat stress simulation are used to create a tandoor oven that performs every single time.

Clay Making - hand made using centuries old techniques by artisans having generations of experience.

Metal Forming - state of the art CNC plant for metal enclosures in various shapes - sizes and designs.

Testing - each tandoor oven is tested for Gas Calibration to suit any gas type and pressure available in the country of installation. Sanitation standards as laid by various organizations are adhered to while making a tandoor oven. All electric tandoor ovens go through a vigorous testing procedure to suit the UL, CE, EAU, JS and more. Individual testing not only ensures a reliable product but also performs better.

Pre-Burning & Curing - Each tandoor oven irrespective of the size is pre-heated to a controlled temperature before packing. This provides the tandoor oven readiness when it reaches the customer and reduces any long preparation time making the tandoor almost ready to use.

Wood Packging - we import special high-quality low weight wood accepted by customs and fumigation departments of countries worldwide and fabricate the wooden boxes and crates with CNC machines for wood to ensure safe shipping overseas. We do not use Thermocole (Styrofoam) or Shavings or paper, only high-quality imported materials accepted at all ports in the world are used in packing of the tandoor oven. All wooden packing is fork-liftable with multi-level loading strength.

Shipping & Dispatch - Clearing to forwarding and loading to dunnage is all done in-house from our warehousing facility using modern material handling equipment. This ensures safe and timely delivery. Be it Air Transportation or SEA Freight to popular destinations in the world or specific delivery to small islands, our team ensures that the tandoor ovens reach safely.

Container loading facility inhouse - We load 40 High Cube Containers with Tandoor Ovens to ensure that they travel safe to reach their destination.

Each Container is FUMIGATED as per Country Standard and Custom Norms.

Multi-Gas Calibration Facility to ensure that the tandoor oven performs as per norms in the country of installation.

History of Tandoors

Tandoor – known to the western world as 'Tandoori Oven' is a curved cylindrical pot made of different kinds of clay or ceramics. Used for centuries in India, the new modern Tandoor oven is now used the world over. Traditionally run-on wood and charcoal, this wonderful concept of live fire cooking equipment now uses charcoal, gas, or electricity to cook food known famously as 'Tandoori Food'.

With heat as high as 450 degrees Celsius or 900-degree Fahrenheit, combined with the convection, convention and radiant heat transfer the food is cooked very fast thus locking juices inside and giving cooked moist food that tingles one’s taste buds. The walls of the tandoor absorb a lot of heat and result in giving flat breads the flavour one never misses - the shape of the tandoor pot ensures that the heat is trapped and circulated in a manner that the food on the skewer is heated from all sides including from the inside by the hot skewer - so the food not only cooks from outside but also from inside resulting in a beautiful experience.
